Volunteering is good for the soul.
We plan to incorporate community service into our program as often as we can. It's the right thing to do and a great thing to teach our kids.
Our club members will have opportunities to help our community through photography. Possibly by photographing fundraising events, donating a family photo session to a charitable auction, school events, etc.
We welcome all thoughts and ideas and will let the class choose how they want to help.  We'll share the photos and stories here.

CREEK FIRE PROJECT
Free Family Photos
for families that lost their home to the
September 2020 Creek Fire
Shutterbugs Photo Club is a photography club for kids and teens based in Prather. We have some very talented kids that have been working on their photography skills over the summer. We want to help the families that lost their homes celebrate their families through photographs.
If you lost your home, please don’t be shy. You DESERVE this. It does not matter what your financial situation is. No payment will be accepted and there will be absolutely no upselling. It’s our gift to you and it will warm the hearts of these young Shutterbugs if you allow them to take your family photos. Don’t be fooled by their age (8 to 14 years old), they take some amazing photos. Check our website and blog to see for yourself at www.shutterbugsphotoclub.com
We welcome other thoughts and ideas on how we can help. Feel free to call, text or email.

Our Shutterbug volunteers Ava, Kennedy, Morgan, and Jenna did an amazing job photographing the families. The photos they took were beautiful and they created an afternoon of joy for the families.
We will not be sharing the photos of the families for privacy reasons.
